In tradition of cantina bars in Mexico, there is common very singular job , people with metal tubs in their hands  makes  an incessant click clack noise , inviting the  consumers  to been electroshocked  , literal not just a metaphor . without difference of sex or age the brave ones take the pair of metal tubes, each electrode in each hand , and they twist like rare tiny bugs when  ascending electric fluxes  trough his nervous system,
after a rush of  laughs screams and joy are experienced , they pay by the adrenalin of the service .
Also  is common receiving the electrical charge in group,  establishing a emphatic sensorial relation like a neuronal synapse.   The construction of these electroshock boxes ,  is very simple and it requires few electronic components, a transformer, transistors and resistance, the  boxes are designed specially by each “señor de los toques “, is a very old  tradition and in some cases it is an self employment that becomes a familiar inheritance and goes from father to sons

 the container box of the electronics  was acquired in a flea market , is a beauty box  elaborated by hand craft artisan leather made engraved with the  Aztec calendar and the Mexico word to the front, where the mirror of the beauty box, is placed a closed circuit camera and TFT screen, participant are recorded at the moment for being audio-electrocuted , registering its factions and the physical answer to the sound-electrical activity

 icpiticayotl is an artistic experiment that uses a very simple circuit ,  a TIP41  transistor,  a transformer , a switch, a 50 k potentiometer , LED and its resistance, the transistor impels an oscillation wave that is  being generated by a cut by saturation that when is connected to the transformer induces a pulsating tension that is amplified by induction towards the load, the voltage recovers its complete oscillation transforming from DC to AC o to1 00 volts consuming from 6 to 10 mA, the system is fed by a nominal tension of 6 volts dc with a consumption on 500ma, when electricity is excited in parallel  by the transistor with a signal originated  from amplifier fed by oscillations generated by a mix of  capacitor and resistance ,  a   open source, sound circuit that manage to combine the emission of pulses in the current that oscillates through the organic system that feedback the electronic components inducing a factor of special communication

 

the corporeal reaction and its emphatic correlation in the affective surroundings induce the involuntary factions of the face and the body during the communication with the system, these reactions are registered,

 the electricity, is a physical power phenomenon form nature that has astonished the humans from the prehistory to actual times , centuries of investigation and experimentation has developed in  the precise control of the electric flux ,creating amazing electrical machines, infinity of electrical and electronic devices, systems of data processing of  nanotechnology level, a phenomenon that has not been concluded to investigate, intensifying  process when applying it to the knowledge of  life   , the reaction of the nervous and muscular system has been  investigated and used the electric flux , in biological science, psychiatry research like the  electroconvulsive therapy for the treatment of chronic depressions, in "justice", and the exploration of playful pleasures.

icpiticayotl is an action that looks  to burst  into the sensorial daily life, trying  to reflect through the exaltation  on the electromagnetic nature of  life
